The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round contest which will be shown live on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the two fighters met personally to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former twice unified title holder Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive disparity - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to genuinely try to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally famous for his showmanship - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
However, the novice is still one of boxing's greatest financial successes, consistently making huge paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in round four or five and claimed he would prevent the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Difference
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the traditional face-off, with their physical disparity evident, it drove home just how unlikely this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the bout is actually proceeding.
